My Best Shot @ Usability

Dear Colleagues:



HCI Vistas will feature articles authored by you from now on!

So far I was writing all alone and will continue to do so.

I will be happy if you join this mission and share your exciting experiences with others.

If you have-

genuinely solved some UI design problems

OR

found something very interesting while testing the usability of product

OR

come across interesting user observations, visualization and design techniques

OR

carried out experiments in the domain of HCI



-then you must write a short article to publish it as part of HCI Vistas.



It will be published in the next volume of HCI Vistas provided it is well written. What is HCI Vistas? At present, it is a web-space created by me, for publication of articles on Usability and HCI. If you respond generously, we shall evolve it as e-Journal. This is an effort to enhance the community participation and strengthen the collective learning. I have taken this initiative purely because there is no publication available for Indian HCI community.



In the group discussions, people write elaborate yet very interesting e-mails while debating on various issues. Such rich information content simply evaporates in cyberspace. Therefore, it will be more beneficial to write an article for HCI Vistas.

It will be published and read by millions of usability professionals.

Let others know about your good work!



As this is a begining, wide canvas of HCI is offered to you. There are no hard-bound themes.

Please do inform me if you are eager to write.
